Meet the Team

Dr. Meghan Davidson

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

Dr. Meghan is originally from Rockville, MD but has been in Columbia since 2010 when she came for her undergraduate studies. She started Soulshine in 2020 because she saw a huge void in healthcare. Too many new moms and those dealing with pelvic pain were not getting access to high quality physical therapy. Soulshine’s mission is to bring exceptional healthcare to our patients, help them to take charge of their health, and create lasting symptom resolution. The traditional physical therapy model wasn’t working and that’s why Soulshine does things differently. When she’s not at work Dr. Meghan can be found being active, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Jay, and four legged children Ellie and Pocky.

Dr. Maya Liles

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

Dr. Maya is a New Jersey native but has been in Columbia since 2017. She received her B.S. in Biology from Columbia College and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from South College in Knoxville. She enjoys treating all patients and has a special interest in pelvic pain as well as patients in the LGBTQ+ community. When she is not in the clinic you can find her either with a book or weight in hand. Dr. Maya loves to learn and is always looking for new opportunities to continue growing both as a clinician and a person.

Emily Kubik

Patient Care Coordinator

Emily grew up in a small town in upstate New York but has been down south for the last 15+ years. Despite being incredible with the patients at Soulshine her favorite title is mom to her awesome son named Owen. When she’s not at Soulshine she is usually spending time with family or soaking up the sun.
