A little about me. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science, followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Before graduate school I knew I wanted to treat primarily women and I wanted to heal others through movement and knowledge, and pelvic health physical therapy allows me to do just that. During physical therapy school I completed a clinical rotation in pelvic health, and since graduation I have pursued several pelvic health courses.
I have found a passion for educating other women about their bodies, the pelvic floor, pregnancy, and other women’s health topics. I feel strongly that knowledge is power and I do my best to spread my knowledge to others in the community. I love not only treating patients but teaching workshops to empower others.
In addition to being a physical therapist and total pelvic health nerd, I enjoy being active as much as possible, cooking for friends and family, and watching my favorite sports teams (Go Gamecocks and Capitals!). I hail from the Washington, DC area, but Columbia has become my home, and I look forward to serving the community to the best of my ability.
I look forward to meeting you and helping as many people as I can through their pelvic health journey.
